What Will Your Answer Be?

The message below was written by my grandmother during the mid 90’s.

I would like to say to those of you, who are not saved, now is the time to repent. There is coming a day when we will have to answer to God. What will your answer be? Genesis 3:9 lets us know that we will answer to the Lord’s call. Adam had to answer. Genesis 4:8 tells us that Cain had to answer, so one day you will have to answer also.

The only way you can give the right answer is to repent of your sins and receive Jesus into your heart, while there is breath in your body.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23

Luke 19:10 says For the son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 5:32 says I came not to call the righteous, but the sinner to repentance. I want you to know that Jesus loves us so much that he died on the cross for us. John 3:16 says For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever shall believe in him shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life. I am praying for every one that is not saved, that you will repent of your sins. I love you. What will your answer be?

Don’t wait, tomorrow may be too late. Jesus died for our sins. Jesus loves you, and wants to save you. Please let your answer be yes, by asking Jesus to forgive your sins. I will keep on praying for you.

I love you, and Jesus loves you also,

As my grandmother explained above, all of us will have to stand before Jesus Christ, someday, to give an account for our actions. Gods Holy Spirit is calling out to men and women everyday. Grandma said “Yes” to the Lord at an early age; And six years ago, early one September morning, Jesus welcomed her into her Heavenly reward for her faithfulness.

I want to invite you to say “Yes” to Jesus right now. You can do so by praying to the Lord in your own words, or by praying and truly believing in your heart the prayer below:

Lord, I acknowledge that I have sinned against You. I now ask You to forgive me of my actions. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins, and rose again on the third day, so that I could have eternal life. I now invite Jesus to come into my heart, and guide my life from this day forward. From this day forward, I say “Yes” to Your plan for my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me.

    1. Amen! I desire to live a life that honors God, and inspires the unsaved to make Jesus their choice. I just want to hear the Lord say, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord.”
