Blessed Is The Father Who Walks With God

Here’s a message by my cousin, Ed.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

To wait on the Lord entitles confident expectation and active hope in the Lord-never passive resignation (read Psalm 40:1).

Mount up, run, walk depicts the spirit transformation that faith brings to You and I. The Lord gives power to those who trust Him.

The Eagle depicts the strength that comes from the Lord. The Lord describes His deliverance of the Israelites in Exodus 19:4, as similar to being lifted up on eagle’s strong wings.

Exodus 19:4 You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagle wings and brought you to Myself.

Brothers and Sisters Exodus 19:4 the expression on eagles’ wings describes the people’s deliverance from Egypt. The Lord has whisked the Israelites away from slavery and brought them to Himself. This type of language not only describes Israel’s salvation from slavery, but it can also describe our salvation from sin.

Brothers and Sisters in Psalm 103:5, the strength of people who are nourished by God is compared to the strength of the eagle.

Psalms 103:5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your mouth is renewed like the eagle’s.

In addition to being our healer, God provides food as well as other blessings (Read Psalms 111:5). His mercy enables (you and I), the believer to rise up like an eagle Psalms 40:31.

Happy Father’s Day!

Accept Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as your savior today. Today is the day of salvation, now is the accepted time. You may not really have tomorrow. Have a Blessed Day.
