I Am Redeemed. These words are true for any person who has asked Jesus Christ to come into their heart and be their Lord and Savior.
Jesus’ arms are still wide open, ready to embrace any unsaved person, who chooses to receive God’s gift of salvation.
Adam’s disobedience opened the door for sin and death to enter the world; separating people from God. Seeing His children suffering from the effects of sin, God sent Jesus to pay the price of sin, and redeem mankind.
To redeem something is to gain or regain possession of it, in exchange for payment of it. So when we say that we are redeemed, we are saying that God bought us back.
This World is in a state of decay from sin and all of the effects of sin. Disease, poverty, pestilence, and every kind of hurt is a result of us living in a fallen sinful world.
Deuteronomy 28 lists every type of affliction that people face, as a result of their disobedience and sin; And this list is referred to as the Curse of the Law. Though the curse may wreak havoc around the world(or around us), the curse has no power over a “born again” believer in Jesus Christ, because believers are redeemed.
We were destined for a life of pain, leading to death…BUT because this misery that was to be our life, was unbearable to God, even in spite of all we have done to deserve judgment, God bought us back. God snatched us out of the clutches of a doomed existence; And accepted us as part of His family.
All ”born again” believers are redeemed out of the curse, and into God’s blessings. God’s redemption covers us for the here and now, past, present, and future. We are God’s children, purchased by the Blood of Christ. We are redeemed simply because of the price that Jesus payed at the cross, for the sins of the world.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
God loves us, because it was Jesus Christ who gave His life so that you and I might have life and have it more abundantly.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
I Corinthians 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
It is truly amazing how once we surrender our lives to Christ, what He has given us in the package of salvation.
God is love, and greater love have no man than to lay down His life for His friend.
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Not just for a little while are we saved, but eternally. Nobody can do for us what Jesus has done.
• I am redeemed. My spirit is full of life; And united with God.
• I am redeemed from any and all failures.
• I am redeemed from any and all addictions.
• I am redeemed from the curse of the law.
• I am redeemed from sin and sickness.
That’s what Christ has done for us.
Whatever you may be dealing with, I encourage you to give it to God. There is nothing too hard for the Lord to handle.
The Word of God says, “Let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily besets us. And let us run with patience, the race that is set before us.” Because of the price that Jesus paid for our redemption.
I am free, I am strong, I am a light in darkness, I am an overcomer, I am a temple for the Holy Spirit, I am a child of the Almighty God, I am the righteousness of God, I am loved, I am an ambassador, I AM Redeemed!
Friends, stand on the Word of God, remind yourself of who you are because of Jesus’ finished work at the cross, and tell other people that they can be redeemed also. Let somebody know that they have the victory; And the victory is in Christ Jesus.
Yes, He is Risen!
If you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, while there is yet breath in your body, you can receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. He is listening for your call. You can pray to Him in your own words, or by praying and truly believing the prayer below:
PRAYER OF SALVATION:
I confess that I have sinned against You, and I know that there is nothing I can do by my own efforts to change my condition. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood and died on the cross for my sins; And that He rose from the grave on the Third Day to grant me eternal life. I know You love me, God, and I love You. I place my faith and trust only in You to conform my heart to Your will; And to order my steps everyday, from this day forward. Thank You , Lord, for saving me.
