We Are The Temple Of The Holy Spirit

I Corinthians 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

The Bible calls we, the believers, the temple of the Holy Spirit. It also says that the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, now lives in us.

The Holy Spirit lives in us to comfort us when we are feeling down, He’s in us to remind us of who we are in Christ Jesus, He’s in us to guide us through life, so that we will have joy and perfect peace. What we must do is allow the Holy Spirit to do His job..and that is to glorify the Heavenly Father.

God wants to speak through us. So we must learn to yield our members to His: And let Him be the guide. While the Holy Spirit is leading us, goodness and mercy is following us, as we journey towards the destiny that God has purposed for each of us.

If you’re wondering, What is my purpose?
1. Let your light shine before men, that they will see your good works, and glorify our Heavenly Father.
2. Go into the hedges and highways, and compel men and women to come unto God. Tell somebody else that Jesus loves them. So many people focus on physical needs, but a person’s greatest need is for a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit is in us to equip us with the wisdom and knowledge needed when problems arise. This is why it is essential that we study the Word of God, and allow the Word of God to get into us. When life’s circumstances arrive, you and I may initially get dealt a hard blow emotionally, BUT then the Word of God is going to begin to rise up in our spirit…and that problem will begin to dissolve. The problem must flee at the name of Jesus. The Lord is given the believer the authority to use His name.

The Holy Spirit is in us to reveal the truth of God’s character. As we study His Word, to grow in understanding. Afterall, the scripture tells us, “in all thy getting, get understanding.”

We are the vessel needed to reach out to a lost and dying world. It’s not about us, but it is all about Jesus…And the awesome price that He paid at Calvary to set us free.

Being the temple of the Holy Spirit means that we house this magnificent blessing within ourselves. We are not in this fight alone, but we have the Spirit of the Lord within us, to fight against the schemes of the devil and his demonic forces.

John 14:16
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

The Holy Spirit is our constant companion, our comforter, and our support. He’s our friend, and when we need His help, He is with us everytime.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, allow the Holy Spirit to do His work in your life; And I am certain that if you allow Him to do His work in your life…you will be amazed.

I Corinthians 6:19
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

We were bought with a price. We belong to God; And since we belong to God, He is going to ensure that we are well taken care of. God will never fail us.

So let’s be mindful that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

If you are holding onto a heavy burden, I encourage you to release it. Tell God all about it. God stands ready to supply you with His peace and joy. There is nothing too hard for God.

If you are reading this and do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I would like to extend this invitation to you to receive the gift of salvation today. You can do so by praying and truly believing the prayer below, or by praying to God in your own Words.

I confess that I have sinned against You, and I know that there is nothing I can do by my own efforts to change my condition. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood and died on the cross for my sins; And that He rose from the grave on the Third Day to grant me eternal life. I know You love me, God, and I love You. I place my faith and trust only in You to conform my heart to Your will; And to order my steps everyday, from this day forward. Thank You , Lord, for saving me.

  1. Still trying to save souls, I see. This is word salad…along with all that other crap you tried to share on Youtube, years ago.

BTW, I responded to the SpaniardViii’s post, but I see that he lacked the courage to post it publicly. Caeli is over there babbling on about politics, and hurling veiled accusations at you. Those two idiots did assist me in proving a theory of mine though.

    1. I am only allowing your comments through on today, so that I can deal with you publicly.

So you are one of those Atheists that I contended with in the comments section of the NonStampCollector’s video, years ago.

I am a servant of Jesus Christ. I encourage my brothers and sistrers in the faith, witness to the lost…And it is Jesus Christ Who does the saving.

I hope SpaniardViii sent your venom straight to the trash, on yesterday.

Your slander against SpaniardViii and Caeli will not prosper. They have a zeal for Jesus. The Lord will strengthen them, and great will be their reward in Heaven.

You need to take a look around you, Polarius. The prophecies in the Bible that you choose to reject, are coming to pass. Jesus died and rose again to save us all…even you.

Despite your rude behavior, people like me, SpaniardViii, Caeli, and many other Christian Bloggers would be happy to listen to whatever personal issues or past life experiences are at the heart of your hatred towards God and believers…but you will not trample on our pearls.

      1. zeal for God? from what I’ve read in their post, their zeal for a certain former POTUS and bashing anyone(Christian or sinner) who doesn’t think just like them, takes priority over any zeal for God. They can make any excuses they wish, because none of them fly, but their behavior only validates a theory I have, and I shared that theory with SpaniardViii in the comment that he is yet to make public.

twice, of being a weak Christian, because
Marques, you defend those two arrogant Pharisees, yet not once but twice they have questioned the level of your Christianity, even insinuating that you are supporting false believers. When I stumbled across your babbling up here on WordPress, I so wished for you to fail I often thought about commenting here sooner to mess with you, but I waited and looked around your circle of Followers until I came across those two hotheads They post their scriptures, but their weaknesses are their tempers and desire to always win an argument. Sounds like pride to me. Hey doesn’t your God hate pride? There are so many other Christian Bloggers up here just like SpaniardViii and Caeli. They don’t appear to have many Followers themselves, but I hope they have cost you some of your sheep. They did my dirty work for me, without me having to lift a finger.

You tried to warn them yesterday about me, and instead they rebuked you. Righteous anger? Give me a break!

Full disclosure, Marques, I never cared who your “so called” friends voted for. I’m not loyal to either Party. I am, however, amused at the division that politics has caused amongst a body of people who claim to serve the same God and have His spirit living within them.

I went back and read a lot of you and SpaniardViii’s interactions on your individual sites, over the past year or so, and the fact that he was so easily ready to question your Christian sincerity twice, is so humorous to me.

      2. Again, I am only allowing your comments, so that my readers can see the wickedness that flows from the heart of a person who shakes their fist at the God who created them.

You are certainly one of the most vile Atheists I have ever encountered. Not that you’d understand, but my friends take more of a Warrior Christian approach, which is certainly needed when dealing with people like you.

My personality and Holy Spirit Leading, makes me more of a Counselling Christian, but don’t get it twisted, because I can shift into Warrior Christian mode when necessary.

I respect SpaniardViii, Caeli, and every other believer who is led to be more of a Warrior Christian. If they choose to respect me being more of a meek Counselling Christian…Great! If they don’t respect me…Well, that’s fine.

I can’t control how people choose to treat me, I can only control how I choose to treat them.

Mr. Polarius, you will not poison my mind against my Christian brother and sister. I only desire to honor my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and hear Him say “Well Done, good and faithful servant” when my mortal life is over. Someday, I pray that you will decide to do the same.

I tell you the truth, you WILL give an account for your words and deeds when you stand before Jesus Christ someday.

      3. Rubbish! You are a humble fool! I am pretty much done with you and your two pals.

Perhaps our paths will cross for a third time.

      4. If it is God’s will for our paths to cross, then it will happen.

If you ever desire to receive Christ as your Savior, or if you come to a place where you are sincere in needing answers that may led to you receiving Christ…You know where to find me.
