God Is Concerned About You

God is concerned about each of us, for it was He who has brought each “born again” believer out of the kingdom of darkness and into His kingdom of Light.

We were in bondage. Yes, we were once slaves to sin. But God allowed His Son, Jesus, to come; And now, all we need do is come to God with a repentant and contrite heart, and our Heavenly Father is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins.

Sin is a terrible monster. It keeps men and women separated from God. Sin causes people to do everything that is contrary to God. Sin may feel good or taste sweet in the beginning, but later on down the road, there will be some harsh and bitter consequences. The Word of God lets us know that when sin is conceived it bringeth forth death.

Now we know all of the havoc that COVID 19 has created, but sin is the greatest sickness and Pandemic that plagues our world. Sin is dark and deceitful. Sin destroys families, severs friendships, cripples nations, lands people in jail. Sin will send a person to an early grave and a burning Hell.

But, Thanks be to God, For He has given us life, once we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.

I urge my brothers and sisters in the faith, that we all would keep our sights and affections set on God; And not on things on the earth. The issue is that once we deviate from our affections being set on God, and start allowing our emotions and focus to be too entangled in present worldly circumstances..this is when things can get out of control real quickly.

God has always delivered His people…And He always will. God always stands ready to calm our fears and address our concerns. All we need to do is call upon Him in prayer, and trust His response, and His timing. No matter how bleak things may look, God does have a plan. If we choose to hold onto His unchanging hand, God will bring us through this turbulent world and into the blessed glory of His Heavenly city at the appointed time.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved. If you know that sin presently dominates your life; And you truly want to be set free, then I encourage you to call upon the Lord today. God is not prejudice or partial to any particular group. If you call, He will answer you. God will forgive you, and He will help you to look at things through a Godly spiritual lens.

I confess that I have sinned against You, and I know that there is nothing I can do by my own efforts to change my condition. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood and died on the cross for my sins; And that He rose from the grave on the Third Day to grant me eternal life. I know You love me, God, and I love You. I place my faith and trust only in You to conform my heart to Your will; And to order my steps everyday, from this day forward. Thank You , Lord, for saving me.

If you prayed this prayer or a similar prayer in your own words, and meant it from your heart, then you are now a part of God’s family. Your name has been written in the Book of Life, and therefore when your mortal life ends you will live forever with Jesus Christ.

Begin studying God’s Word. A great place to start is to read the Gospel of John, then Matthew, then Romans, then Acts. This will give you a foundation of the teachings of Jesus and how He desires that we successfully navigate this mortal life.

I will encourage you to also find a good church home, where the true Word of God is being preached. Always remember that your salvation is not based on politicking with church leaders, how well you dress, how well you sing, how much money you put in the offering pan, etc… Your salvation is built upon your acceptance of Jesus as your personal Savior, and your commitment to growing to know Him more and more each day, through prayer, studying the Bible, and interacting with other “born again” Christians, who sincerely encourage you to grow spiritually.

God Bless You, and if we don’t meet in this mortal life, I look forward to meeting you in heaven.
