Please let me start by saying that the purpose of this post is not an attack against a person, but instead the continuation of a Prayer Request for a young woman, whom I do believe truly wants to know God and serve Him with all her heart, however the devil is taking advantage of some past hurts to confuse and discourage her.
In early November of last year, I shared a post regarding a conversation between two fellow Bloggers, Spaniardviii and Kenzelsfire. Their discussion was regarding the gender of the Holy Spirit, and Kenzelsfire’s questioning of how the Bible was translated. She indicated to Spaniardviii that she’d been reading the Strom’s Concordance, a few other books, and stated that the Holy Spirit had revealed to her that the gender was feminine.(II Cor. 11:14 tells us that Satan will pretend to be an angel of light to deceive people.)
Kenzelsfire’s site was one of the first ones I began following when I joined WP in 2015, and so I became very concerned about her recent change in doctrine, and that it may potentially led her away from God completely. In my comments to Spaniardviii, I supposed that Kenzelsfire’s change in belief may have been a result of a bad experience at a church or a recent traumatic event, and now a deceiving spirit was taking advantage of her hurt feelings to lead her astray from the truth. I requested prayers for Kenzelsfire, from the followers of my site; That God would open her eyes and she’d be led to sound Biblical doctrine.
over the past few days, Kenzelsfire has opened up in two posts about painful things from her past, which I believe the devil has been using to confuse her and keep her from walking in truth. I desired to comment on these posts, to offer Kenzelsfire some words of Godly encouragement, however her comments section is closed.
Kenzelsfire has chosen to remove the two post, which I previously had linked to from her site, and so I have removed the links here. My words below still stand.
Kenzelsfire, if you are reading this I would like to acknowledge you for sharing this information with us about your past. You are not a wimp, as you expressed concern about in your recent posts. You have shown great courage by opening up about these past events. There are plenty of people who care about your spiritual well being, and now we know what to pray for on your behalf.
Would everyone please join me in praying the following for Kenzelsfire, so that she can be encouraged and grow to become the person Jesus ordained her to be.
• First off, I pray that the power of God’s love would overshadow Kenzelsfire, and let her know that she’s not alone. That the “true” Holy Spirit will help her to learn to trust the right people. Those who do have her best interest at heart.
• None of us can fight off the devil alone. We need God to place a loving church family in Kenzel’s life, so that she can be fed the true Word of God, and receive Godly
Pastoral counselling regarding the painful events from her past. The “true” Holy Spirit will of course do the inward healing of her heart.
• I believe having the support and love of a Godly Motherly figure would be beneficial to her also.
Overcoming The Times 
Excellent post and well expressed. I prayed for her this morning. We are living in unparallel times, where deception is cranked up and is in full steam ahead.
Scripture alone can only keep a person in the truth. We are witnessing its result when left to discover God apart from the Bible. Jesus said that we cannot live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God (the Bible).
A Christian cannot grow and please God apart from Scripture.
This is a sobering reminder that we must hold tight to the Word of God even when we get tempted to seek out extra biblical sources. It is not worth starving your faith. Faith comes from hearing the Word of God. Only God’s Word feeds you. Keeping that in mind will save you a lot of confusion.

You are right, brother. As believers, we must study God’s Word daily, and keep seeking God intentionally in prayer for discernment so that we can rightly divide what is of God from what is deception from Satan.
Like so many, this young woman, is carrying some past hurts, which is making it hard for her to trust others. The Bible says Satan comes as a roaring lion. the enemy wants to isolate people away from other believers, to make it easier for him to hunt/deceive/discourage them.
We love Kenzel, but most importantly Jesus loves her more. My heart goes out to her, because of what she endured with her sister; And her not being able to study scripture with that young lady, Julie, that she mentioned in one of her posts.
I can tell in her writing that there is currently an inward battle going on within Kenzel, between this deceiving spirit and God’s true Holy Spirit.
Thank the Lord, Kenzel has taken an important step by opening up about her past. We must pray that God will place the right body of believers, in her area/city, into Kenzel’s life; And that she will have the courage to trust them and allow them to help her work through the hurts of her past via Christian Counselling and teaching of God’s Word.
We will stay in prayer for her and all of the other people who face this same situation We will also pray for each other, and that we won’t fall victim to false doctrine, so that we can continue to encourage others to place their faith and trust in the Lover of their soul, Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the Word of God, not the bible. Weren’t some parts of the bible written by barbaric bloodthirsty, very violent and ignorant savages who created god in their own likeness? All Christians cherry pick the kind verses in the bible and either ignore the barbaric ones r try and do mental gymnastics to justify their barbarism as if such barbarism was consistent with Jesus.

Jesus is the Living Word of God, because He and God are One. The Bible is God’s written Word for people to study.
John Arthur, I say the following out of genuine concern for your soul; You need to resolve your personal vendetta against God; and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior Talk to God in prayer, talk with a Christian Counselor, Talk with a Protestant Evangelical Pastor, but get your personal issues with God worked out..and receive salvation.
We have nothing else to discuss here, until you are willing to receive Christ.

I have no vendetta against the God of compassion, healing-mercy and loving-kindness who saves all human beings. Wasn’t Jesus kind and compassionate and didn’t he say that God is kind towards the “ungrateful and the wicked”?
Karl Barth, the leading evangelical theologian of the twentieth century, said this: “Jesus Christ, as attested in Holy Scripture, is the one Word of God whom we are to obey in life and in death” (C.D.IV:1, p3.). So if Jesus is the Word of God, if the Holy Spirit is female then wasn’t he a homosexual? So is Kenzelsfire saying that Jesus was same-sex oriented?

The doctrine that all people will be forgiven and admitted into Heaven is not inline with God’s Word.
Salvation is available to all, however Jesus speaks a great deal about Hell throughout the Gospels, and clearly lets us know that sadly the majority of mankind will not truly choose to accept God’s gift; And Hell, then the lake of fire and brimstone, will be the final destination of the unsaved(See also Revelation 20:11-14).
Matthew 7:13-14
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I haven’t read anything about Kenzelsfire saying anything about sexual orientation in any of her posts, so I won’t make any assumptions about what she’s trying to say on that subject.
John, to address your last comment, where you inquired, “So if Jesus is the Word of God, if the Holy Spirit is female then wasn’t he a homosexual? So is Kenzelsfire saying that Jesus was same-sex oriented?”
The Bible clearly states that the Holy Spirit is masculine, in John 14 and John 16; And Jesus addresses marriage as being between a man and a woman in Matthew 19:4-6.

Kenzelsfire does not appear to believe that the Jesus of the biblical witness is the supreme and final revelation of God to humanity (Heb.1:1-2). She claims current private revelations of God in dreams. This is a direct denial of the sufficiency of Holy Scripture and the finality of God’s revelation in Jesus which was complete when the witness of the apostolic community to Jesus Christ was completed. This witness is the NT.
Although there may be further illumination by the Holy Spirit to break forth from the biblical witness, there cannot be further revelation. Kenzelsfire, with her Pentecostal emphasis on private revelations is in danger of denying the Jesus of the biblical witness and adopting another Jesus.

While there is yet time for you: pray to the Lord and ask Him to forgive your sins, save your soul, and begin revealing Biblical doctrine to you. I will pray that God will place a believer, in your town, in to your life, who can help you find a Christian church home, so you can have the support and accountability of other believers who teach sound Biblical doctrine.

Thank You for your prayers, Beverley! I thank you for the Godly doctrine that you share on your site. It is a blessing to many people.
There are a lot of strange doctrines springing up, in efforts to lea people astray. The Holy Spirit is clearly referred to as “he” and “him” in John 14, John 16, and in II Thessalonians.
I’m unsure of what explanation the person you’re conversing with will give you, but you may get the same response that Kenzelsfire gave SpaniardVIII…That they did some research from a book outside of the Bible and got new revelation.
I’m very concerned about the young lady I mentioned in this post, because like I wrote she was one of the first people I began following when I joined WP, because her posts were so powerful and filled with good Biblical teaching. I’m praying hard that she will return to sound teaching.
SpaniardVIII and myself’s whole concern with all of this is that, even if a person says they are saved and a follower of Jesus Christ, once they start believing that there is even one falsehood in the Bible, then they have opened a crack large enough for Satan to come in and cause them to start doubting other things in God’s written Word.
Each of us who manage Blog sites,will all be held accountable by Jesus Christ, when we stand before Him for the doctrine(Biblical or false) that we shared on our individual sites.

Thank you Marques. The person explained that she understands that the trinity is Father, mother and son and not three men. I explain to her my understanding base on the bible.
The problem that we are having in this society now is a gender problem. Some people don’t know what gender they are and some people believe that they have no gender and some persons believe in this women dominance etc etc. There are a lot of confusion in our society which is brought about by the devil. May God have mercy upon us.

One of the most concerning things is that a lot of false doctrine is coming out of these Bible Schools and Seminaries. I’m not saying all of these places are bad, but a lot of them are.
And then these people start writing books based upon their own flawed human intellect, instead of being inspired by God’s Holy Spirit and His written Word. They wanna get rich and famous by spreading false doctrine that confuses people, instead of preaching the true Gospel of the Bible that will bring salvation and deliverance to those who are lost and hurting.
God, please help us all.

The Holy Spirit is a feminine and the word was changed to a he and this is in the bible, if you look at the baptism you will read that the spirit of God came and rested on Jesus. We know this is the Holy Spirit and then turn to read Isiah 11:2 you will read she is wisdom and understanding and then read proverbs 8 which tells you her gender. Men have changed it which is why Strong’s translate it as he, she or it. The original text was always feminine and I’m glad everyone is praying for this girl. She wasn’t wrong about her original post and she obviously is in need of our prayers. Love her as you would yourself. ❤️

Matthew 3:16-17

The Holy Ghost did not transform into a dove; but the sign of a dove was given to John who had baptized Jesus to signify the truth of the deed, as the dove is an emblem or token of truth and innocence. The dove represents peace of the deepest kind. It soothes and quiets our worried or troubled thoughts, which lines up with Jesus’s calling the Holy Spirit the comforter. (See also John 14:16-18 and John 16:7-14, where Jesus clearly refers to the Holy Spirit as “he” and “him”).
Sarah, when someone tells you and I that the original writings of the Bible were tampered with; And in this specific case, the words spoken by Jesus Christ Himself in John 14 and 16, that person is attempting to shoot a missile into the very foundation of the Christian faith. If they can get you to believe that Jesus’s words were changed regarding the gender of the Holy Spirit, then they will start causing you to question other things in the Bible.

Let’s look at Isaiah 11:1-5
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

Isaiah 11 is giving prophecy about Jesus. Jesse was the father of king David. So we know that Isaiah is prophesying the fulfillment of 2 Samuel 7, that a son of David, a new shoot of Jesse, will come and rule the people of Israel and rule the world. All of chapter 11 is a description of that Son of David — that shoot, that branch — and the kingdom he will rule.

Kenzelsfire lost her mom at an early age, had a rough relationship with her sister, and was forced to end her friendship with another girl whom was helping her to study scripture. I do belive she wants to serve God sincerely, but I am making an assumption(and I admit that I could be completely wrong) that her longing for a close Motherly or Sisterly relationship and not having a strong church family that she felt she could trust, made her vulnerable to Satan’s deception that the Holy Spirit is feminine. I don’t know you, Sarah. Maybe you and Kenzel have a similar backstory. All I can do now, is pray that God would do a mighty work in your life and open your eyes to all things true.

I also told you to read proverbs 8 where we can see wisdom and understanding is referred to as a she. I was speaking about the prophecy as such in Isiah merely pointing to the spirit being referred to as wisdom and understanding and that the gender is revealed in proverbs
.I do question a few things within the bible which men have been manipulating since Constantine hijacked Christianity such as for example in John we read that Jesus gave his disciples permission to forgive sins and then breathed on them the Holy Spirit yet we read in the book of acts that they had to wait 10 days from when Jesus was taken up to the festival of weeks known as Pentecost until SHE arrived.
Also we have 7 feasts we are to keep. The Passover, the Jesus rising again known as the the first fruits harvest which pagans call Easter and then the weeks, festival trumpets, day of atonement and feast of tabernacles and the second Passover. No Xmas or Easter or Sunday worship since God blessed the 7th day and made that holy (Saturday) and made that holy. What he gave to the Israelites he gave all his people yet your all deceived by the Catholic Church yet the bible speaks for itself. Anyone who works on a Saturday commits sin. So we have to really study these things since men do manipulate Gods word and be sure to stay in a close relationship with the lord so he can teach us all these things. So it’s about asking God to show us and not to treat all prophecies with contempt because people have altered the bible but not enough for us to be misled.
Jesus said before you look at the dust in someone else’s eye remove the beam from your own eye. I can see you coming from a place of love but the Holy Spirit is female. An all male God head makes no sense. Read back in genesis when God made “them” he was talking to the spirit of God and then in Genesis 2&3 we see that we have God and the lord God so now we see Jesus, open your eyes and your heart and God will reveal his last day mysteries to you. If we don’t seek the answers from the heart he won’t show us. It depends on our motives.
The word was changed from a she- a he and If you study it more then your see that at the time it was translated it from Greek. Any word could have been used but at the same time I’ve no desire to argue this point and I’m glad your praying for Kenzel. We should always love our neighbour as ourselves.

Marques, this Sarah person whoever she really is, is clearly here to deceive you and your readers. She also came to my blog to spew her twisted view of Holy Scripture to her own shame.
These people are clouds without rain, trees without any good fruits. She has clearly rejected the Word of God as being pure and perfect as Psalms 18:30, Psalms 19:7-11 declares.
The thing is that once a person attacks the reliability of the Scriptures, anything you point out of it, will make no progress in their hearts.
Look at her logic. She is using the Scripture to say that it is false or has been corrupted. So, she is contradicting her own argument by using the Bible as her evidence for the Holy Spirit being female which she has already rejected. What does that say about this Sarah? Very deceptive. She only has one purpose, to oppose all that is good and righteous, the Word of God.

I’ve said the bible has been altered in parts but not enough to be misled and God has hidden mysteries within the bible which he is revealing in the last days. I’m afraid it’s you who’s deceived, I know what I know and I know how I know and so you could understand what I know I showed you where to look but since this is a comment post I can’t go to deep into it.
Constantine hijacked Christianity, the Catholic Church have manipulated what we know and even the sabbath was changed by men but you trust all you’ve learnt? Have you looked deeper into it. God in Hosea said his people parish from a lack of understanding so lean not on yours and ask the Holy Spirit to show you who she is!!

I’m not wanting to argue this but just explain what I meant when I said that an all male God head makes no sense.
You have a Mother and a father so why would Jesus not have the same, God the father has a son but Jesus has no mother yet we no that there is a Holy Spirit and Jesus doesn’t have a brother so then who would she be and there are various places If we study we can read the real gender but your spiritual eyes are sealed Something you should seek God about and before you say mary is his mother. This is impossible. No child would have authority over a parent and no human has authority over God. Mary conceived by the power of the most high and the Holy Spirit (male and female) they implanted the embryo so jesus is there child as with all surrogates who don’t conceive naturally, the embryo belongs to the parents who planted it. We have to ask God for wisdom on these things and not lean on our own understanding which I’ve not done. As I said wait and see!! I’ve no desire to argue about it. Your find out soon enough.

In my blog, this Sarah seems to argue in keeping the Law of Moses. This person is truly confused and very dangerous. Her teaches to put it bluntly is demonic and is clearly not from the Holy Spirit. Marques, you did well in contending for the faith delivered to us through Scripture.
Our battle against the deception of Satan will never end until Jesus comes back. Be strong and continue your fight for the Gospel.
Until we suit up again for our next battle to hold the line and not let unclean doctrine pass through.

I’m just going to let the Scripture dismantle your false interpretation about keeping the Law in the Book of Galatians.
Galatians 5:1-4
For freedom, Christ set us free. Stand firm then and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery. 2 Take note! I, Paul, am telling you that if you get yourselves circumcised, Christ will not benefit you at all. 3 Again I testify to every man who gets himself circumcised that he is obligated to do the entire law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.
Furthermore:
You go right ahead and try to keep the law to obtain your own salvation without Christ and see how that will turn out.
Paul said in Philippians 3:8-9,
8 More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them as dung, so that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ—the righteousness from God based on faith.
Apparently, you have too much pride to accept Jesus’ righteousness and you want to earn it on your own merit.
Paul said that everything apart from knowing Christ through faith in Him is “dung” meaning worthless because the law makes a person work for righteousness and you seen not to understand that the law’s purpose wasn’t to make a person righteous, but to show the person that their own efforts couldn’t get them right with God. The Laws standards are way too high. That is why the law was not pointing to itself to achieve holiness but it was pointing to Jesus’ death and resurrection (the sacrificial system) that through His righteousness we may obtain it. Righteousness is a gift, it is not earn.

Your ignoring what Jesus said and focusing on what Paul said which can easily be misunderstood. Jesus said that not everyone who calls him lord would be saved so faith alone can’t save you and only those who did the will of the father. You have to stop sinning and walk in obedience to God which includes his sabbath!
James spoke about keeping the law in his letter. 2:8 and he lived with Jesus his whole life and Jesus himself told us the same thing in the gospels but you continue to follow Paul and I will follow Jesus since he died for my sins and no other name under heaven can save me so I shall do exactly as he said while you listen to Paul who by the way shouldn’t be taken literally since his letters were written to people for pacific reasons at that time. We can learn from them but we should only ever look to Jesus. Follow him. Read the gospels again!!!

Hi, Maia I appreciate your concern for Kenzel. She only kept her site up for a few weeks after I posted this, and I did visit her site to attempt to witness the true Gospel to her, however her comments were turned off. She’s either made her site private or taken the original site down since that time. She could very well be using a new screenname and have a new site at this time…I’m just not sure.
Because I too do not want to see anyone deceived by Satan’s tricks, I do continue to keep Kenzel in my prayers. Please add her to your prayer list also, Maia.
BTW, welcome to WordPress, Maia. I pray that God will use you mightily to share the Gospel; And that souls will be won to Christ through the words God has given you to share.

T’a shame that her site got taken down. I pray that God would not only open her eyes to the truth, but that she may use this experience to be an agent of encouragement during these trying times. May God deliver from the hand of Satan!
