Our Christmas Announcement: Part 2

To all of us who follow after Christ, we must consistently be messengers of Christ who can help to “Calm People’s Fear.” You and I must make AN announcement to others that where Christ is existing and at work in A person’s life that there is meaning and purpose and a sense of calm that replaces fear.

II Timothy speaks loud and clear to acknowledge that “born again” Christians, those who know Christ in their life, need not be timid or full of fear.

II Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

The reason You and I can be God’s messengers helping to calm fear is because of the message we have to share with others is a message that:

• What is your message?
• What is your announcement as you communicate to others around you? Are you like the “Angel” who brought the original Christmas Announcement?

Some people are messengers of complaints, ranting, raving, bellyaching, to all who will hear and sometimes they do it even when no one is listening. Some are messengers of Confusion, telling half the story or an inconsistent story or an untrue story.

• We are not to be messengers of complaints
• We are not to be messengers of confusion
• God calls us to be messengers announcing Christ.

What about your message?
What is it that you communicate?
Do you communicate a complaint, confusion, or Christ.

In Verses Luke 2:10-11 The Angel sought to calm fears by saying, “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

Friends, this is your hope, your happiness, your holiness, your help for all that you will ever need, a Savior whose name is “Jesus” the Message of Hope. (PLEASE READ TITUS 3:4-7)

The greatest thing we have to celebrate this Christmas is not gifts or good food. You and I have more to celebrate than the presence of family and friends. You and I celebrate that we are a part of the Holy Family of God.

God loved us enough and is awesome and loving enough to make a way for us His children

Titus 3:7
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Luke 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

Glory to God, is that your announcement? Is that your message? Have you received the message of Hope?

Are you being a messenger of the Gospel?
What is your Christmas Announcement to Others?

If you are reading this and do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I would like to extend this invitation to you to receive the gift of salvation today. You can do so by praying and truly believing the prayer below, or by praying to God in your own Words.

I confess that I have sinned against You, and I know that there is nothing I can do by my own efforts to change my condition. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood and died on the cross for my sins; And that He rose from the grave on the Third Day to grant me eternal life. I know You love me, God, and I love You. I place my faith and trust only in You to conform my heart to Your will; And to order my steps everyday, from this day forward. Thank You , Lord, for saving me.

When we accept salvation, God saves us immediately, and makes us fit for entrance into Heaven, however some changes God will empower you to make easily, while making other changes will be a process that may take months or even years to make. Regardless of your situation, I assure you that the Lord loves you more than you could ever comprehend, and He will be with you every step of the way. Pray, study God’s Word and ask Him to give you revelation of what you are reading. I also pray that the Lord will direct you to a true Bible teaching, Jesus loving church, where you can have the support of other believers.

  1. Beautiful posts. thank you for sharing!

The Child Of Bethlehem. Who left all His glory to come to earth to pay for our sin. It is the greatest miracle ever and God’s infinite Love for Mankind. But mankind was not waiting for the Saviour.

Will we be waiting for His Second Coming?
Will we be waiting also this very day?
Or are we so very much occupied with the worldly things that do not last?
The worldly things instead of matters that are for the eternal welfare for the soul?

Will we be like the five wise virgins with extra oil for the lamp in the vessel?
Or will it be like the five foolish virgins who were not alert and forgot to bring extra oil in the vessel?
Will Lord Jesus have to say “Verily I say unto you, I know you not”?. (Matthew 25:12KJV). Then it will be forever too late.
