Taking Authority

Satan is attempting to intimidate you, because he is intimidated by the capacity for good which God has placed within you

God has given us the authority to take a strong stand against the kingdom of darkness.

The power is in our tongue to bind the works of the devil: And to tell other people that Jesus Christ saves.

Matthew 18:18
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

    1. Your posts are truly Holy Spirit inspired, my brother.

I too had to contend with a group of Atheists, several years ago, who were saying some outrageous things on a Youtube Channel.

While there are many outthere who just want to justify their sinful ways, and be argumentative, there some Atheists who use their combative exterior to mask hurt feelings from the past: abuse by the Roman Catholic Church, lack of an earthly Father in their life during their childhood, etc….

If this particular Atheist just wants to argue with you, cut them loose, and just pray for them. If they are willingly to open up to you about their past, then prhaps that is an entry point for you to witness to them.

      1. You are so right. They seem to always argue through emotions. For a couple examples: If God is so loving why make hell? Why did God destroy men, women, and children in the Old Testament? Their arguments are no based on the evidence for God’s existence, but in their hurt and confusion of who God is. Remember these passages?

        Matthew 25:24-30
24 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

The atheist is the person with the one talent who misunderstand who Jesus is and does nothing with the blessings that God gave him to use it for His kingdom because the atheist believes that God is evil.
