God’s Love: Tell Someone You Know About Jesus

One can give no better explanation of God’s love than John 3:16-17,

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Jesus invites everyone, and says:

Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Through Old Testament times men shed blood of bulls, lambs, goats, and turtledoves when bringing obligations. They must have realized that the only way sin could be atoned for was by blood and death.

Isaiah, chapter 53 tells us how Christ was led as a lamb to the slaughter and He opened not His mouth.

The way of our lost condition is to accept Jesus as our Savior. His blood for our atonement, His way as our way. Jesus said:

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 6:37
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

The Word Of God points us to Jesus, the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. It tells us how He lived while on earth, how He lifted the burdens of the heavy laden, healed the sick, and restored the dead to life.

He died on the cross and rose again. Now the way of salvation is complete; it is perfect. If we neglect so great salvation, how shall we escape? The time is now:

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your heart as your personal Savior, I would like to invite you to do so right now. You can ask Him into your heart by praying in your own words, or you can pray and truly believe in your heart and mind the prayer below:

I acknowledge that I have sinned against You. I now understand that I can only become a better person by allowing You to operate in my life. I am ready to turn away from choosing to do bad deeds. I believe that Jesus died for my sins, and rose again so that I can have eternal life in Your kingdom. Now, I invite Jesus to come into my heart, and guide my life from this day forward. Thank You, Lord, for saving me.
