Do You Love Like Christ?

Brothers and sisters, base every relationship on the unconditional love of Christ.

Relationships can be fragile. Everything’s fine if two people are traveling down the same road, but what happens if those two people don’t see eye to eye, or open animosity is evident?

The Christian’s role in a relationship, any relationship is to love.

When you and I live and dwell in the love of Christ, that same love seeps into all our relationships.

John 15:9-11 As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
(9) As the Father loved Me. I also have loved you: The love of God the Father for God the Son is the measure of the love of Son for you and I, the believers.
(10) If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
(11) These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

Christ loves you and I, (the believers) unconditionally. But as believers, we must obey Christ’s Word and abide in His love; And as we do so we will come to experience and understand His love for us more and more.

Ephesians 3:19 To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

The Love of Christ is so great that it is beyond our understanding. The fullness of God is the abundance of gifts that flows from God.

Accept Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, today. Now is the accepted time. Salvation is a free gift. You may not really have tomorrow. Have a Blessed Day.

    1. Hi, Choralade. I thank you for commenting.

I applaud you for having the humility to openly confess that you truly want to love like Jesus.

Have you asked Him to be your personal Savior? This is the first and most important step.

  1. Yes!
And He’s helping me to grow in love. The love He has poured in my heart by His Spirit often finds expression. But I’d like to move from often to always- loving perfectly.
