“Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel.” Philippians 1:27 (English Standard Version)

No matter what we encounter from day to day, we should always conduct ourselves in the way that represents Jesus Christ. Even when faced with issues, we are to respond with a Christ-like attitude. This means we are to do what Jesus would do.

A few years ago, a movement gained force called WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) and many people purchased the book, t-shirt, bracelet, and bumper sticker. For some, this was just a fad and it sounded good and looked good temporarily. For others, it was a way of life; to be lived and sustained by the Word of God and demonstrating the Gospel in daily life. WWJD is more than just a neat acronym but also a reminder that every aspect of life is counted as important and must measure up to the precepts of the Bible whether or not we are even acknowledged for the things that we do. We are to make God proud by being one spirit as we build the Kingdom one soul at a time.
