Testimony

Had You not lived the life you lived, you would have no testimony

Testimony a formal written or spoken statement.

Please Read Galatians 6:10-17

Testimony: Events and testimonies in the Bible are examples for us today. The Bible says in the New Testament that the things written in the Old Testament are there to serve as examples and encouragement for us today.

I Corinthians 10:11
Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Christian Testimony: Christian testimony is given when Christians relate how we can know the God of the Bible through the moving of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. Most commonly, we are sharing how we became Christian’s by God’s miraculous intervention and work in our lives through specific events. A Christian testimony should not end with the conversion of experience, but should also include the ways in which the Lord has worked in our lives to sanctify us for His service.

Personal Testimony
A Personal Testimony is the most effective tool we possess. Our testimony requires no scripture and no need to be a Bible scholar. Everyone knows himself/herself better than anyone else. It simply requires that you and I share the knowledge of ourselves. Sharing our personal relationship with Jesus and road we traveled to get there.

People can argue scripture and theologies all day however they cannot argue the valid facts of your own personal life.

Apostle Paul realized that there is nothing more powerful than the Word of God working through the personal stories of believers. In Acts 22, Paul uses his testimony to point the Jews to Jesus. In Acts 26, Paul uses his personal testimony to point King Agrippa to Jesus.

As stated in Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. There is nothing more real in all the nations than a recount of what our Lord has personally done for us, personally. Every single person who has been forgiven of any and all sins has a powerful testimony.

Acts 21:37 to Acts 22:3-29 Paul’s testimony to the Jews of Jerusalem.
Acts 26:19-21 Paul’s testimony to Jews and Gentiles.
