We must not allow any negative people to steal our joy. When we lose our “Joy” we lose our “Strength.”
1. Praise God, Joy comes in the Morning.
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
8 The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Our joy and strength comes from the Lord. Don’t allow anyone to take away from you, your joy and strength.
There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so for today make the choice to trust in the Lord to fill you with joy and strength.
If you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I encourage you to take a self-inventory of your life. What are you currently looking to for joy and strength, and are these things truly giving you lasting joy and strength? I assure you that you will only truly find lasting joy and strength via a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. I know this because I tried Him for myself, and what He has done for me, He will do the same for you.
Lord, I acknowledge that there are areas in my life that I can’t fix myself. Lord, I ask that you come into my life, and forgive me of my past transgressions. Please, help me to forgive myself, and help me to forgive those who have done me wrong. Search me, Lord, and remove anything that is not pleasing in your sight. Fill me with Your love, wisdom, and give me peace in my heart. I pray this, and Thank You in the name of Jesus. Amen
