Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
Solomon said, Ecclesiastes 9:4 But for him who is joined to all living there is hope. Friends, life on earth gives us the chance to influence and enjoy the world around us. Please read Ecclesiastes 9:7-9.
You and I can enjoy our work. Solomon advised:
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
If you and I plan to do anything to the glory of God in this world, we had better do it while we still have time.
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
Paul wrote: Colossians 3:23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.
Whatever our vocation or job or role in life, You and I can still do things that matter, and do them well. We can encourage people, pray, and express love with sincerity each day. The writer of Ecclesiastes says, “Time and chance happen to them all.” No one knows when (our) their lives on earth will come. Please read Ecclesiastes 9:11-12.
Folks, it’s impossible to know when our lives on earth will end, but “GLADNESS AND PURPOSE,” can be found in this day to day relying on God’s strength and depending on Jesus’ promise of eternal life.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
Heavenly Father, help me to manage my time well and enjoy the gifts of this world today. Thank You for the promise of eternal life through Your Son Jesus Christ.
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Accept Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Today. Today is the day of salvation. Now is the accepted time. You truly may not have tomorrow. Have a Blessed Day.
