Man’s Ignorance

Satan’s Greatest Weapon Is Man’s Ignorance of God’s Word

Don’t Be Ignorant of Satan’s Devices

Brothers and sisters, You and I are living in a lost world. Satan the Devil, hates us and wants to destroy us. We must be aware of our enemy’s weapons and tactics, because our spiritual life depends on it.
We must follow apostle Paul’s example and not be ignorant of Satan’s devices.

II Corinthians 2:11
11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

One of Satan’s devices, or designs, is to cheat the believer out of true forgiveness. The devil will try to divide the church any way he can.

1. Pride: Pride is one of Satan’s strongest weapons. Pride is always dangerous. When things are going well such as in times of peace and prosperity.
Remember the Lord Your God Deuteronomy 8:11-17
Example: Lucifer himself, the one who became Satan. From the time of his creation, he had always lived under God’s perfect rule. Eventually, his heart was lifted up with pride and he rebelled.
Please read: Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:14-17; 1 Timothy 3:6. He uses the same devices today.
Pride is the opposite of the Godly love that apostle Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
Pride does “parade itself,’ and is “puffed up.” When you and I think more highly of ourselves than others, it is easy to become impatient, unkind, rude, and self-seeking.

Brothers and sisters, we can fall into the trap of being proud of doing good things, as demonstrated by the Pharisee in Jesus Christ’s parable of the Pharisee and the Publican. He gave the parable as a warning to those “who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and despised others.
Please read Luke 18:9 The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God I thank You that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. (12) I fast twice a week, I give tithes of all I possess (verses 11-12). Jesus emphasized that “everyone” who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.. Repentant Tax Collector (verses 13-14).

Brothers and sisters there are many temptations that we sadly fall into because our flesh is naturally weak. But we have God who will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear; He will provide.

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you will be able to bear it.

You and I can be victorious and then thank the Lord for deliverance from temptation. We learn from Jesus’ responses to the temptation exactly how we are to respond, with Scriptures.

The forces of evil come to us all with a myriad of temptations, but all have the same three (3) things at their core:
1. Lust of the Eye
2. Lust of the Flesh
3. The Pride of Life

Brothers and sisters, you and I can recognize and combat these temptations by saturating our “HEARTS and MINDS,” with the truth.

The armor of a Christian Soldier in the Spiritual Battle of Life includes only one offensive weapon.

Ephesians 6:17
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is for your life.

Accept Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, today. Today is the day of salvation. Now is the accepted time. You may not have tomorrow. Salvation is a free gift. Have a Blessed Day.
