If Tomorrow Never Comes

Have You Time to Prepare for Time is Running Out
Is God in Your Plan?

II Kings 20:1
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

Brothers and sisters, death will come to us all. We must be prepared to die as well as to live.

Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

James 4:13-15
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

Brothers and sisters, the problem here is not the plan or the concept of planning; it is LEAVING GOD OUT OF THE PLAN.

A week ago I attended the funeral of my church Choir Director.
I re-evaluated my life at his funeral and put myself in his casket.
What will I do different if tomorrow never comes.
There are three (3) ways you and I can live today like it’s our last and we will die knowing we did our best.
I hope you will commit to having a new appreciation for life by living everyday like it’s your last. Read James 4:13-15 aforementioned.

Three Ways
1. Seize the day. Happiness is not a destination, it is a daily journey.
2. Secure your home:
a. Spouse (Husband/Wife) Love them Ephesians 5:28. If you got the “seize the day” attitude, this will be easier. Love them like yourself.
b. Forgive them Ephesians 4:26. What if you didn’t win every argument. Remember don’t let the sun go down on your anger.
c. Children Psalm 127. God has blessed some of you with children. Although they’re not perfect, their a blessing.
3. Serve the Lord. Before any of the aforementioned is going to make any sense, He must be your Lord. Read Romans 10:9-19, Acts 2:38.
If Jesus is not your Lord, who is? You guessed it.

Matthew 22:37-40
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

You never know when your time on earth is through. Every day is a non-returnable, precious gift from God.

a. Seize the day (Live life)
b. Secure the house (take care of your spouse and child/children).

Accept Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, today. Today is the day of salvation. Now is the accepted time. You may not have tomorrow. Salvation is a free gift. have a Blessed Day.
